    Objective: Assistance to expand the school farm activities in three ways: Chicken farming: to increase the size of the laying flock to 200; School garden: to provide supplementary irrigation; Restart the dairy enterprise.
      Background: The school has a rainfed plot (2000 sqm) of good quality land used for vegetable growing, and a poultry unit designed for 100 layer chickens, but with only 50 layers at the moment. Both activities are a source to supply food for the school and for vocatio
    Use of Funds: The funds will be used for: Chicken enterprise: costs of 200 day-old-chicks, feeds to the point-of-lay, medication, lamps, brooder stove, feeding troughs and drinkers. Supplementary irrigation: materials (steel, cement, bricks) for a water tank of ca. 30,
