IND/02/019 - Mat Weaving Scheme for the Empowerment of Rural Poor Women

Objective: To assist twenty scheduled caste women to purchase looms and raw materials to start mat weaving to free themselves from hard labour and domination by rich landlords.

Use of Funds: The funds will be used for the purchase of 20 mat weaving looms, kora grass, colours, ten days of instruction, teaching and learning aids.
