Background: The project is located in the rural community of Kisinga Sub-County, Kagando Parish, in Kasese District, Western Uganda. The nearest town is Kasese, which is about 35 Km towards the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The area is poor with mainly subsiste
Use of Funds: The majority of the funds will be used to purchase two pairs of oxen bulls ($913), ploughing equipment ($1250) and seeds ($250). The first ploughing of new land has to be done by tractor, which is relatively expensive but essential ($457). George Chizyuka
